The book: Electrified Sheep and Other Bizarre Experiments by Alex Boese. The Cover: This grabbed me for its style – very evocative of the era of bizarre and pulp science. It’s like a board advertising an amazing new cure-all tonic. The title itself was also rather attention-grabbing (Do mad scientists dream of electrified sheep?). The subject matter: Covering historical events with some artistic license to make it more story-like. The Book: Spider silk: evolution and 400 million years of spinning, waiting, snagging, and mating by Leslie Brunetta and Catherine Lee Craig. The cover: One of the things that immediately struck me about this book was that it looks rather like a novel. It doesn’t seem like much, but having a non-fiction book in an easily-readable size can make a lot of difference in casual or public reading. It reads more like an extended essay than a textbook, with points thoroughly explained and a flow between topics. My Bio

This is the place where I will mainly post drawings of my and my friends' RP characters (from tabletop or larp games).
To those who don't know me: most of this is likely to mean very little. There will be many references to jokes or characters not heard of outside a very small group. These are the characters of various people, and are the intellectual property of their owners.
To those who do know me: I will keep characters' owners anonymous unless otherwise asked (if you would like to be identified, I'm happy to do so). I can also update any character information you'd like to provide (I can't remember everything). Most references won't make sense to those outside a given game, but I hope some of the jokes carry over anyway.
I hope some of this brings back fond memories or gives a laugh. Some of it is just a way for me to organise and develop character ideas.
